Master Bridget Morrissey- Shihan

Master Bridget studied under the watchful eye of Master Gary Michak. In 2001 She was inducted into the World Karate Union Hall of Fame as Outstanding Competitor of the Year.  Master Bridget is a member and former coach of the Goshin Jutsu National Karate Team and in 1995-1996-1997 was nationally ranked in the top 10. Master Bridget is a former #1 ranked competitor nationwide as a member of the national team. She  has been #1 in forms, the #1 competitor in weapons (both male And female) and fought to be #2 ranked female fighter in her division in the United States. Master Bridget is an adjunct professor at The University of Scranton where she teaches Self Defense. She is also a member of the Goshin Jutsu Yudan Shakai (Board of Black Belts) of Master Gary A. Michak.

Shihan Stephanie Sawchak- Shihan

Shihan Stephanie is co-owner of American Dojo and holds a rank of Shihan in Goshin Jutsu Karate and Aiki Jutsu. In 2001 she was inducted into the World Karate Hall of Fame as Instructor of the Year.  She is a member of the Yudan Shakai (board of black belts) of Master Gary Michak.  Also a member of The Goshin Jutsu National Karate Team, she has been ranked by N.A.S.K.A. as #2 in Adult Women's Forms and the #3 Adult Fighting Woman in the U.S.A. Shihan Stephanie is the founder of A.D.K. Aiki Kai. She is also the originator of the Safe Woman, Safe Scout, Safe Worker and Safe Senior Seminars. She is dedicated to the safety and well being of all people through the martial arts.
